Farewell 2017

Better late than never! 2017 was an extremely busy and successful year all around. The land caught up on water from last year's drought and despite continued strange weather, crops were plentiful. We birthed 29 Kimstead Kids who were quickly adopted to wonderful homes all across New England. We had our fourth annual Open Barn as well as our first "Goat Yoga" event which, despite the chaos of screaming goat kids, was so fun and a great success. The farm proved to be a great host for several "yoga retreats" which included a half day sessions of meditation, yoga, wellness talks and walks. Our CSA brought our members bountiful veggies and fruit every week and our meat share proved that once and for all, it is always better to know where your food comes from. Kimstead Farm participated in the Pepperell July 4th Parade. Our family increased by one as we welcomed John to the family. He and Amanda were married on a beautiful September day in Connecticut. We also added Angus (a.k.a. Bad Angus) to our doggy family after losing our wonderful Logan. And finally, we welcomed the massive LeBlanc Family for a reunion in November. Wishing you all a 2018 full of love, laughter and good health!
